FireSky, proaspăt intrat în rândurile publisher-ilor, ia taurul de coarne şi vrea să se arunce pe piaţă direct cu un MMO, bazat pe seria TV Stargate, care se va numi Stargate Worlds. Din păcate, încă nu avem prea multe informaţii despre joc, dar se pare că o mare parte din development s-a concentrat pe crearea de noi forme de interacţiune între jucători, conţinute într-un sistem nou numit Social Networks at Play SNAP, care tinde către o unificare a aspectului social, economic şi de gameplay, totul în scopul extinderii experienţei de joc la mai multe titluri. Sunt câteva voci care susţin că va fi vorba despre un fel de joc online de tip „social”, destinat jucătorilor casual care ocupă azi o porţiune tot mai mare de piaţă… 

    „The concept behind this is that we feel there's an opportunity in the market place for us to deliver a more robust experience between both social networking types of applications, like MySpace or Facebook, together with triple-A, high-end gaming as well as other forms of gaming as well - and integrate the two into one destination portal that we'll provide to customers.

    A lot of the strategy for why we want to do that, comes down to that for an MMO, it's really important to recognise that we provide a service to our customers and that it's a top-to-bottom experience that they're going to enjoy - that's more than just the game.”

    Nici mai mult, nici mai puţin... Publisher-ul mai are şi alte proiecte, între care unul pe nume Project: Ascension, şi va încerca să adune jucători în mai multe jocuri dezvoltate în cele patru studiouri interne proprii. În treacăt fie spus, FireSky este, de fapt, o filială a Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, ex-publisher-ul lui Stargate Worlds, doar în fruntea ei stă Joe Ybarra, Vice President of Strategic Operations şi unul dintre membri fondatori ai Electronic Arts…
