Decât să mai aştepte încă un atac din partea lui Jack „anti-video games” Thompson, Take Two a trecut la contraatac şi a declarat că Thompson îi atacă libertatea de expresie, referindu-se la viitoarele apariţii, Manhunt 2 şi Grand Theft Auto IV:

    Evident că replica lui  JackThompson nu s-a lăsat aşteptată:  
„I have been praying, literally, that Take-Two and its lawyers would do something so stupid… that such a misstep would enable me to destroy Take-Two…”
