Micheal Patcher este unul dintre oracolele de la Wedbush Morgan Securities, analist care îşi dă cu presupusul în ceea ce priveşte viitorul industriei de gaming. Ieri, Patcher a sărit calul, presupunând că Rockstar North (ehm, GTA, da?) ar trebui să se despartă de Take 2 la finele contractului, adică la sfârşitul lunii februarie 2009. Analistul crede că este vorba despre bani, lucru pe care îl cam bănuieşte oricine, dealtfel, dat fiind succesul imens de care se bucură marca Grand Thef Auto. „I don't think that this is an issue of dissatisfaction with Take-Two; rather, I think it is rational to believe that in the wake of the $850 million Pandemic/BioWare deal, high quality developers like Bungie and [Rockstar] North would look to test their market value.” Ehe, spune el, oracolul de la Wedbush Morgan ceva, nu credeţi? Rockstar e o mină de aur în sine graţie lui GTA... ce-ar fi să se intereseze Vivendi sau Electronic Arts de achiziţionarea lor?
