Funcom ne anunţă că MMORPG-ul său, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, este disponibil direct la download pe site-ul developer-ului. Jocul costă 50 euro, 50 USD şi 40 GBP, şi pe chestia asta primiţi o înscriere de 32 zile. De ce 32? Pentru că 2 zile sunt bonus din cauza mărimii fişierului – 15 Gb (32 Gb la instalare), aşa că pregătiţi-vă pentru multe ore de descărcare. Conform Eurogamer, Funcom deţine toate drepturile asupra lui Age of Conan, aşa că mişcarea cu download-ul digital îi lasă pe Eidos fără nici un sfanţ primit pentru joc. Deh, nu prea le ies pasienţele celor de la Eidos în ultima vreme... Spicuim de pe site-ul oficial:

„Purchasing this product will immediately activate Age of Conan on the account you are currently logged in to. Due to the time estimated for downloads, two additional days are given to your account for a total of 32 days included.  

Note that the client is 15 gigabytes in size and may take a long time to download, depending on the speed and/or limits of your broadband connection.

The download is delivered through a download manager that supports pause and resume.  

IMPORTANT: Please ensure that this account is the one you wish to enable Age of Conan on, and that you have selected the correct version of the game. If you prefer to play on the US servers, check the US Download Offer instead.”
