Primele screenshots & video din Mytheon

Fraţi într-ale MMORPG-urilor, azi avem veşti bune pentru voi: au apărut primele imagini şi un video din Mytheon, viitorul MMO gratuit dezvoltat de Petroglyph (Star Wars: Empire at War, Universe at War: Earth Assault.. dacă găsiţi vreun punct comun între ăstea două, trageţi-mă de mânecă). Jocul va fi un amestec de acţiune, strategie şi RPG, totul fiind adunat într-o ciorbă MMO. Cum, necum, Mytheon va fi gratuit şi făr’de abonament. Cum va funcţiona? Prin micro-tranzacţii: de exemplu, îţi cumperi o pereche de nădragi sau nişte poţiuni. Dacă vă interesează acest joc, îl veţi putea butona în single, multi sau în PvP, unde veţi profita de un sistem de power stones, cu ajutorul cărora veţi putea invoca unităţi, structuri sau diferite magii. Universul lui Mytheon este, cum îi spune numele, unul al mitologiei: dacă, pentru început, jocul îşi va trage seva din mitologia greco-romană, ulterior Petroglyph intenţionează să extindă aria la alte mitologii „mai exotice şi mai misterioase”. Scopul jocului l-ar face invidios până şi pe Cioran, fiind acela de a-i „alunga pe zei de pe tronul lor ceresc şi elibera pe muritori de sub tirania lor”. Irvine, Calif., (June 25, 2009) - True Games Interactive, an international multi-player online game publisher, in conjunction with renowned game developer, Petroglyph, today announced the release of the first official trailer for its upcoming online multiplayer action-strategy game, Mytheon. The action-packed trailer is pure in-game footage and showcases the unique and fascinating Greek mythology styled environment while giving players their first glimpse at some of the larger-than-life mythological creatures and gods in the game, including the mighty Poseidon. Players will get a glimpse inside the immersive mythological world with dynamic 3D renderings and lush fantasy settings such as Hades. The trailer also explores one of the game's key gameplay elements, its "power stones", which can be used to summon loyal minions, inflict destructive and devastating spells, battle colossal monsters and more.
